Technical Purchaser (m/f/d)
Your Contribution
You enjoy obtaining and comparing quotes for technical items, and you also like to cut costs. You have a talent for organization, and scheduling and planning are your top priorities. You take pride in optimizing costs and thus actively shaping the future of a global market leader and hidden champion. Then you are the perfect addition to our purchasing team with a good working atmosphere at our location in Weissenbach an der Triesting.
That´s what your role is all about

You determine the scheduling and definition of requirements and delivery dates.

You receive series and customer orders from the order center and process them.

You obtain quotes, negotiate prices and process orders.

With your experience, you will quickly take on responsibility for operational purchasing.

You assist in the search for and qualification of suppliers.
- You conduct internal and external supplier discussions.

You see optimizing the cost structure as an exciting challenge.

You see occasional business trips to suppliers in Austria and neighboring countries as a welcome change.

You work closely with other departments, such as engineering, service and assembly.

You maintain close communication with quality assurance, especially when purchasing new items or dealing with new suppliers.
You can utilise these skills
-
You have completed technical training, ideally in electrical engineering/mechanical engineering, in the form of an apprenticeship or HTL.

Experience in purchasing or materials planning would be desirable.

You have good MS Office skills (especially Excel and Word).

Ideally, you have practical experience with ERP systems and BI tools.

Incoterms are not foreign to you.

You always keep an eye on delivery reliability.

Quality is important to you.

Even when working under pressure, you don't give up easily.

You have very good German language skills at level C.

You have good written and spoken English skills.

For legal reasons, we would like to point out that the collective agreement minimum salary is Euro 2.947,89 gross/month. Based on qualifications and existing previous exeperience we will pay on market level.
