Laboratory technician (m/f/d) for the analysis of recycled plastics

Your Contribution

Would you like to make the world a more sustainable place? Then join us as a laboratory technician and work with us to transform waste into new, hight quality materials. In the responsible role, you will complement our team in implementing a circular economy.

That´s what your role is all about

  • You will be responsible for the quantitative analysis of plastice waste, pre-treated materials and regranulates. The focus will be on gas chromatographic analysis based on GC-FID and GC-MS.
  • Analytical sensor technology, physical testing and sample preparation form another component of your work.
  • Based on your findings, which you docuemtn in test reports and incorporate into work instructions, you will contribute directly to imporving the processes at our recycling machines.
  • You will be responsible for ordering and managing the inventory of necessary consumables and chemical substances.

You can utilise these skills

  • Specialised training in chemisty or technical chemistry (college, university - dropouts welcome), or training as a chemical laboratory assistant.
  • 2-3 years of professional experience in a laboratory is an advantage, but we are also open to career starters.
  • High willingess to learn, an analytical approach to work and strong problem solving skills
  • Good knowledge of German and English

For legal reasons, we would like to point out that the collective agreement minimum salary is Euro 2.900,-- gross/month. Based on qualifications and existing previous exeperience we will pay on market level.
